| 1. An overgrown wall, an unusable slope, transformed into a beautiful, terraced, decking/hot-tub area. |
2. “We hate all the concrete” No problem, lets use soft natural stone and clad it all! |
3. Boring tarmac, inadequate parking space. Now beautiful, Brindle coloured paving with room for family and visitors. |
| 4. "There's too much grass, too much maintenance. Give me something different". How about interlocking circles with a rock bubbler |
5. Battle of the Somme……… transformed into sunken garden, pond and waterfalls, and beautiful new lawns.
6. "We have low maintenance, but it's too square and hard. What can you do?” Let's soften it with curves and circles.
7. “The builders did the landscaping, but it doesn’t quite work. Can you help us?”
No problem, lets re-do the steps and walls then plant the whole area. |
8. Steps too square and ballustrading wrong level. Let's do the whole thing again. |
9. Lovely swimming pool but no where clean to sit……… now have a real stone patio and pergola for shade.
| 10. "Our boundary, is on a slant, what can we do?" Use a pergola, bamboo screening and clever perspective to widen the top of the garden. |
11. The same garden, “We can’t even see the house from the bottom of the garden”.
Problem solved and now you can sit in comfort and view the transformation.
12. “We’re having a conservatory built. What can you do with the garden around it?"
Try soft stone terracing and steps with a new enlarged patio area.
| 13. Boring steep slope converted into a terraced garden with a slate bubbler for sound and movement. |
14. A very large, awkwardly sloping lawn, turned into terraced gardens, using natural wood, rock and water.
15. Far to much lawn, far to much mowing…… now a beautiful low maintenance terrace.
| 16. A beautiful conservatory but no view. So we created a natural look
waterfeature, with a drystone wall to retain the new sun patio level. |
17. Client asked us to fill in the swimming pool. We said yes but only halfway. We then created this unique sunken garden with integrated rock and water feature.
18. 'The postage stamp', but we managed to "create" a circular lawn, curved patio, circular sun patio, rockery pool and water feature, all in low maintenance style. |
| 19. Dull and uninteresting rear patio area transformed into a strong circular and curved wall design with the soothing sound of water from the bubbler. |
20. "I would like a bowling green but I have a cold clay site". So we took 180 tons of clay out by hand (no machine access) and replaced with grit, sandy soil and a full drainage system - "perfect." |
21. Muddy field transformed into box edged beds and herringbone brick path ways, with central raised waterfeature. |
